The author of this book explains seeing in the spirit and related spiritual topics in clear, easily understandable terms.What I liked the most were the personal experiences that he shares in the book.Another bonus is the contemporary books that he references along with Scriptural basis for seeing in the spirit, healing, visions, dreams.I recommend it as a good, basic book for understanding how to see in the spirit.
When I first learned that Praying Medic was writing the book Seeing in the Spirit Made Simple, I was very excited. I knew that if he covered this topic in the same way he covered Divine Healing that he would make spiritual sight accessible to many, many people. With clear instruction well supported by scripture, this book makes seeing in the spirit simple. The exercises in each chapter will help you to engage and develop as well as the numerous examples and testimonies. This is one of the best books written on the subject and I love the way he explains how spiritual sight can work with and enhance our gifts and callings. (healing, prophecy, deliverance, spiritual warfare etc.) Lots of real life examples to inspire and encourage you! I highly recommend this book!
I purchased this book on audible also and it is very interesting and I actually liked it but then upon listening to it the second time I heard the Praying Medic say that most of this book is based on the work of Peter Tan. Now I was not familiar with Peter Tan and so I did some research on him and then the Lord showed me something about what Paul said. Paul said that a man cannot fulfill the lusts of the flesh if he is walking by the Spirit, and yet Paul was talking not about just any spirit but specifically about the Holy Spirit. When one is walking in discernment and living and listening to and seeing the Holy Spirit he is not practicing the lusts of the flesh. Peter Tan unfortunately in my research is a man who did, and has continued to live in sin and by the lust of the flesh. It was in that moment that I realized that the foundations of the Praying Medic’s book to see in the spirit is based on someone who sees in the spirit, but not the Holy Spirit and then I realized that this is not from God and so I have to delete it from my library. And that’s why I can only give it one star now. It’s a very entertaining & interesting book but I must walk by the Holy Spirit and not just any spirit. Be careful, there are many spirits speaking today but only One is set apart & Holy. Peace.
I thank Michael van Vlymen who wrote an excellent book on the subject for introducing me to the Praying Medic book, "Seeing in the Spirit made simple." We always hear from the gurus in the marketplace that clarity is power. Now this book brings so much clarity in the sense that it covers all aspects of seeing in the spirit, which gives us the power to start acting in the spirit. The chapter with regards to prophesy was for me so enlightening, since it was a area I was seeking understanding, and this book made it simple. For those that have the desire to See in the Spirit but need a so called "push and clarity" - this the book.
Easy to read, but there's no meat in this book. I also found some dangerous parts in this book, that might all too easily lead people down wrong paths. I think that on these topics, it's crucial to stick tight with Biblical Teachings and not wander much further from that narrow path.With good doctrine, it's an interesting phenomenon to study. Almost all the other books I've read about Christian Seers have been far more insightful and with better details and with more adherence to Scripture.I think the author meant well--and his easy conversational writing style makes this a decent book... but again, there's not much meat and too much liberty wandering away from solid theological doctrine and the Holy Bible itself. I would not recommend this book because I can list five far better ones from people who have done their studies and more responsibly convey the information.

The author tries to present all the information in as basic of terms as possible so that everyone can easily understand. This is not a full length discussion in each chapter, but enough to give you a working understanding of what is happening. At the end of each chapter there are exercises to help you see more in the Spirit. Each exercise focuses on the material presented in the chapter.Some of the material presented i have heard differently from other people which gives me an opportunity to dig deeper in those areas. There was several; areas that confirmed what other people have told me from their experiences of Seeing in the Spirit.
This books is a very wonderful overview of seeing in the spirit. Praying Medic is an awesome author. He describes many aspects of seeing in the spirit, including, visions, dreams, hearing from him, seeing angels, evil spirits among many other topics. Besides the detailed overviews of each aspect, Praying Medic also interspaced through the book, many helpful exercises to help the reader hone they skills at seeing the spirit. In addition, he has sound biblical reasoning and verses to support his points of view. His own testimonies also help making the points fresh. He also recommends several resources in the book that helped in his journey to see in the spirit. I enthusiastically recommend this book along with other books written by the praying medic, including Hearing God made simple and Divine Healing made simple.
